We do not generally review products and equipment. We DO, however, try products ourselves that we believe help our customers become better runners. When we like a product, we try to partner with that company to provide additional value and insight on the use of the product for our customers and theirs. Often we try to create a reseller arrangement so that we can offer products, bundles, discounts where appropriate, and added NeuroRunner value.
We often tell you how to use the product in ways that will work best for your specific objectives. For example, you can buy a breath trainer. The protocol on how to get the most out of it for running, using a neurological lens, is value we add. We may help you interpret results, provide value added analytics, even provide an app that is specific to your training activities.
We also try to create options to fit your pocketbook and preferences. For instance, you can get strong using a $6,000 piece of equipment in a gym, a $250 barbell and weights, a $100 set of resistance bands, or your own body weight for free. Where there are tradeoffs, we’ll tell you. Where here are no other options, we’ll work to get you what you need for the least cost possible. Where you can use something you already have, like a smartphone, we’ll tell you. We are about the results, not the product sales, which means it has to work for you!
